On Friday 8th August 2008 Burleigh Travel invited more than 70 guests to a hospitality day at the Cheltenham Cricket Festival. The guests enjoyed a Pimms reception, 3 course dinner and a full days cricket, depsite the recent bad weather!
Guests included a number of Burleigh Travels recent tourists, including Minchinhampton RFC who have been travelling with Burleigh Travel on rugby tours for more than 10 years, as well as many of Burleigh Travels suppliers, without whom we would not be able to provide our high quality sports tour packages.
During the day Burleigh Travel also ran a raffle and auction, with the proceeds going to the Tamara Johnson Trust Fund, a young lady who injured her spine playing Rugby in February 2008. We were able to raise a superb £950, which takes our total contribution to the trust to more than £2500! Thank you to all those who contributed to this worthy cause. Burleigh Travel would like to thank all of our guests who helped make the day a huge success, as well as Old Patesians Rugby Club who provided a 1st class service throughout the day.
