Highly recommend Burleigh Travel, we recently toured with them to Devon and they were first class. They made the organising of the tour seamless and easy taking all the pressure and load from me. The Accommodation was really nice and the kids made precious memories and gained valuable life skills, such as discipline, teamwork and respect. Along with having plenty of fun at the adrenaline quarry.

Every year our football clubs under 15s have a tour abroad to a location of their choice. We went to Lloret De Mar in Spain for 3 nights at the end of May 2026. We went to a location recommended by our previous years Under 15s as they went to the same place with Burleigh Travel. It was the first time I had arranged anything like this and found it quite time consuming and tedious. However David at Burleigh Travel was patient and made it as easy as possible. We asked to change room setups and this was amended at minimal notice and no cost. The buses that transported from the airport & fixture were pristine, the hotel staff were great, the drivers were great and the opposition we played were very accommodating. I have nothing but good things to say about Burleigh Travel and if we have the opportunity to tour again would certainly use them again.

What a Tour for the U14’s.
We opted for 2 x fixtures across the weekend due to tournament rules not allowing mixed gender football.
This was actually our preference so we were so pleased when Burleigh could accommodate this.
Huge thanks to Carolyn, Scott and all the team at Burleigh Travel for their professionalism and diligence in organising everything. Nothing was left to chance, and we didn’t experience a single issue. The itinerary was clear and detailed.
Alongside the fixtures we also visited the Philips Stadion, home of PSV for an unforgettable tour.
The only question we had on the way home was ………. where are we going next year?

Excellent tour what can I say absolutely brilliant from start to finish.
The coach company (Nash’s) where so obliging nothing was to much trouble pick up times pub stops everything to order a pleasure to work with .
Morecambe nice little seaside town brilliant for large groups of lads all bars welcomed us no problem anywhere. The hotel was right in the middle very central.
We played at Vale of Lune a little worried as they play at a higher standard but wow what a game very competitive game with a mixture of young and old. Excellent hosts couldn’t do enough for us highly recommend if your looking for a game up there.
Lancaster is also worth a look we had a brilliant pup crawl on the Sunday.
Special thank you to Burleigh travel to make it all possible as always everyone really enjoyed it .
We will be touring next year and definitely be using Burleigh travel again .

David from Burleigh travel was outstanding throughout the whole process of arranging our Rugby tour to Ghent. We were a very large group and had players join 2 weeks before departure but nothing was too much for David he responded within 24 hours to every email. The tour was fantastic everything from the coach travel to the hotel was all as per the brief provided and excellent value for money.
I highly recommend Burleigh Travel excellent service and support, taking the pressure and stress away for any organiser of a large group.

We have just returned from a 4 day rugby tour in Antwerp organised by Burleigh Travel. I have to say it was excellent from start to finish, a really good team of people in the office to answer your questions, excellent communication and all of the information you need to make a successful rugby tour. The coach company (turners) provided a great coach and driver (Phil) who I would highly recommend.The Ibis Centraal hotel was perfect for our needs and the Ghent rugby festival was the perfect amount of rugby with an excellent atmosphere.
Having Burleigh to organise the transport, hotel, rugby and all the other little bits really took the pressure off and allowed me to get on with all of the other things needed for tour. Perfect

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Burleigh Travel team for their outstanding support in organising the recent football tour for 3 RIFLES. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and responsiveness throughout the planning and execution lead to a successful deployment of 22 service personnel to Spain to play two football matches against local teams.
From the outset, the agency demonstrated a clear understanding of our requirements and worked closely with us to tailor the itinerary to suit our unit’s needs. This included organising and booking training spaces to allow our team to acclimatise to the Spanish heat and funding this directly, a luxury that wouldn’t have been possible without their support. Their proactive communication and flexibility made the planning process smooth and efficient, even when faced with last-minute changes and logistical challenges.
Transport was always on time and the hotel was well-suited to our group, offering comfort and convenience due to its proximity to sites in Lloret de Mar and the training facilities. Burleigh Travels ability to coordinate these elements seamlessly was greatly appreciated.
Throughout the tour, David remained available and responsive, providing real-time support and resolving any minor issues quickly and professionally. Their commitment to ensuring everything ran smoothly allowed us to focus on the purpose of the trip and enjoy the experience.
The football tour was a resounding success. Their support not only met but exceeded our expectations, and we would not hesitate to recommend them for future events or travel requirements. We will definitely be using them for future sports visits with other 3 RIFLES Sports teams.

We had a lot of disruption to our team management this season and so our tour plans were very behind! Along came Burleigh Travel to the rescue in late October no less!
They gave us some great touring options, were very very patient and really accommodating when it came to trying to get all of our finances together at the last minute.
The whole process was seamless and no hassle at all. Every question was answered quickly and with reassurance as booking a tour was a new experience for me!
More importantly our lads had a fabulous time, no phones in sight and they enjoyed every activity. Even the ones they said they weren’t going to do at the beginning! They learnt so much not only about themselves but also each other over the weekend and this really came through in their game play at the festival. It was also a great opportunity to get to know each other as parents and make some further plans for next year.

After 2 years of Covid disruption we finally got to tour again, and what a fantastic tour it was! The whole team from Burleigh were fantastic, both in the lead up to the festival and over the weekend itself. Carolyn was always on hand to answer questions and it was lovely to meet her and the team in person at the festival. We had a brilliant weekend and wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again! Roll on 2023!
The organised events ran very smoothly and were ideally suited to the needs of our mixed group. Great value Amsterdam river cruise and the organised fixture with Gouda RFC could not have been better. The rugby was competitive and their hospitality was second to none – we all came away feeling thoroughly enriched by the experience, reinforcing our belief in the extended rugby family. Overall, couldn’t fault the tour, thanks guys!

COVID has had a huge impact on every sector, travel being particular hammered. Our original tour was cancelled due to travel restriction but through great comms on both sides, DRFC and Burleigh Travel, we managed to set a new date in Sept. Burleigh travel refunded 3 families that could no longer make the rescheduled tour and the rest of us (15 families) had a absolute blast. Croft Farm was great in every respect – service, food, accommodation, activities. Chris put on an extra training session (which gave us coaches a break) and although we didn’t play any rugby against opposition, the boys had a great time. In their own words – “best tour ever” and “can we do this again next year” It was by far the best team bonding session that our lads have had. Chris looked after us very well, under immense pressure brought about from COVID restrictions. We have already started speaking with Burleigh Travel to take part in a Summer rugby festival at Croft Farm in 2021.
Blaina RFC have used Burleigh Travel for our last three tours. I have always found them to be very professional and dedicated. The trips have pretty well all happened with little or no issues, and everyone who has travelled has had a great time! Looking forward to doing more business with them in the future.
Further to this, in the current diffcult circumstances our planned rugby tour to Dublin in May 2020 of course had to be cancelled. This was unfortunate, but also out of everyone’s hands. In trying times, Burleigh and Director Chris Kite were very helpful. They worked with us to get refunds etc. sorted, and this was all handled in a very professional manner. It’s been difficult times for them, so good luck and hope you come out the other end of this cirsis safely. Thanks again.
As Chair of my local rugby club, I have arranged tours through Burleigh Travel for the last 2 seasons. 2020 was supposed to be our 3rd year in a row.
The organisation has always been spot on. The team are professional and dedicated, providing a hugely impressive service. Nothing is too much trouble.
The Covid-19 situation meant that this years’ tour was cancelled. We have had multiple discussions and the team have maintained their professionalism throughout, during very trying times.
As a result, we are delighted to have committed to touring with them again in 2021, and very much look forward to doing so.
Booked again this year but couldn’t travel like many other but Chris dealt with the matter professional and really cared! Thank you.

From start to finish, Alex was very attentive to any details and queries i may have had and responded to them in a timely manner.
The trip was very well organised and everything ran smoothly and met our needs from the time we left the clubhouse to the time we returned.

The booking and organisation process was so well supported – it never felt like I was organising a tour for 40 plus. When we arrived, the accommodation was just as it had been promised and Burleigh Travel staff were staying on site and really checked to see everything was as it should be.
On Saturday, we had been offered a friendly – and what a lovely venue – once again with Burleigh representatives that said hello, engaged with the group and just ironed out any issues.
When it came to booking our next tour – I never considered using another operator and would certainly recommend Burleigh Travel.
A once in a life time experience for the Minch Colts Team!
Our accommodation was well presented and the staff were very friendly. The location was very good and we were able to explore Chioggia and visit local restaurants easily. Our coach driver was absolutely brilliant (added to the holiday). Although not speaking too much English, he was always on time and got us to where we wanted to go at the time we required – top marks!!
All you guys at Burleigh Travel were great and your time and patience with us was much appreciated! We had a lot of the parents commenting on how great the itinerary was and how seamless the transitions to the next event were, which made a big difference to everyone’s overall enjoyment of the trip – again, top marks! The Treviso v Edinburgh game was a real highlight and all your planning worked out really well. We even got invited onto the pitch afterwards by the Edinburgh Players, with lots of photo opportunities!

The service I received was excellent, especially since our original tour company went into liquidation. You were so understanding of our situation and provided a superb tour at short notice. Since the moment you received my panicked email requesting help to reinstate our trip the communication and help was been excellent and second to none! The tour itself was up there with the best, not only did it run smoothly, we had no trouble with coaches, hotel or flights. We spent a day on the beach, which had perfect weather and was a great location to relax, play some rugby and enjoy some beers.
Our rugby match on the Saturday couldn’t have gone any better, the hosts were fantastic, the hospitality was excellent and both teams enjoyed a competitive match in some gorgeous sunshine. They also welcomed us in our fancy dress, enjoying a little of the English social side to rugby and played some drinking games.
The strip was packed with bars and restaurants and only a short journey from the hotel.
Finally I’d like to recommend a tour to Albufeira to any rugby who’d like to enjoy any of the above, as long as you show respect to the hotel and locals there was never any need for anything else.
Burleigh has been exemplary and would recommend using as we will be in the future.
I have no hesitation in recommending Burleigh travel.
