Bournemouth Mini & Junior Rugby Festival 2026
With the touring season getting underway, we were delighted to once again welcome clubs to the Bournemouth Mini & Junior Rugby Festival 2026, kindly hosted by Swanage & Wareham Rugby Club.
The festival welcomed over 1,000 players, parents and coaches for a fantastic weekend of rugby, activities and entertainment on the Dorset coast, with groups staying at the stunning PGL Osmington Bay.

📍 Arrival Day
Touring groups arrived and checked into their accommodation on Friday evening, with Osmington Bay providing the perfect coastal backdrop to start the weekend.
The evening included a hearty dinner, organised evening activities for the players, and time for parents and coaches to relax and socialise in the bars and communal areas at PGL Osmington Bay.
🎯 Activities & Evening Entertainment
Saturday provided touring groups with a full day to enjoy the PGL Osmington Bay site, combining activities, social time and the opportunity for teams to relax and bond away from the pitches.
In the evening, after dinner, groups came together to enjoy evening entertainment, with a fully licensed bar and live music, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for players, parents and coaches alike. Live band The Sound performed in the main function room and bar area, helping round off a fantastic day.

The festival provided players with the opportunity to test themselves against new teams while embracing the values of teamwork, sportsmanship and enjoyment. With excellent conditions throughout the day, coaches, players and supporters were treated to a fantastic showcase of mini and junior rugby.
