General Football Tournament Information
Last year four hundred and forty teams from fourteen different countries took part in the Holland Easter Open ranging from U9 teams all the way through to U19’s with sections for boys and girls teams making this the biggest youth football tournament in Holland and thus guaranteeing your players plenty of football. You will participate in a tournament format spread over two days ensuring that The Holland Easter Open should make for an unforgettable football tour experience.
Your group will be based in one of our popular holiday parks that boasts a range of activities, which are sure to keep your group entertained throughout the duration of your stay. This safe and secure environment also offers a bar and restaurant for the older members to enjoy.
Your Football Tour Itinerary
Departure Day
You will depart your club by coach where you will travel to Dover for your morning or early afternoon ferry crossing to Calais. The crossing will take approximately 1½ hours and once in France your coach will transfer you to your accommodation in Holland where the remainder of the evening will be free to make use of the facilities on the complex where you may wish to book a group meal at your accommodation.
| The Holland Easter Open – Day 1
You will travel to the first day of the Easter Open Tournament where games will be played in a group format, giving you the chance to play against sides from around Europe. |
| The Holland Easter Open – Day 2
You will return to the tournament venue to take part in the second day of competition when the finals will be played and the winners for each age group decided. At the end of play the presentation ceremony will take place. |
Final Day
You will have the day free until you travel to the port for your late afternoon return sailing, arriving in Dover approximately 1 ½ hours later to complete your journey home.
