University Football Tour to Albufeira

During their football tour to Albufeira on Portugal’s popular Algarve, the players of University of Stirling Football Club enjoyed numerous nights out along ‘The Strip’ in Albufeira; managing to drink in almost every bar and club by the time they had to come home! Their accommodation located at the top of the ‘strip’ was in prime position to start the night out; even if the walk home proved a challenge!

As variety is the spice of life, the students incorporated a range of fancy dress themes at various points during the week, including a round of pub golf…enough said!

Brief encounters with John Terry and Kevin Nolan capped the stay in this lively resort that was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Oh..and yes they did play some football in which they managed to shake off their fuzzy heads and successfully compete with their hosts before enjoying their company and hospitality after the game.
