Army Reserve Women’s Football Team set off on a three night tour to Holland, where they enjoyed two matches and some time to explore. Holland continues to be one of our most popular and highly rated football tour destinations due to the competitive fixtures, fantastic hosting and brilliant sightseeing.
The team arrived in Amsterdam on Thursday evening, after crossing at Dover. Once they had checked in and dropped off their bags they had the evening free to explore Amsterdam’s famous nightlife! They had the majority of the next day free to fit in some sightseeing, before an evening fixture against VV Hoogland FC. This was always going to be a challenging fixture for the girls, who had asked for a good test on tour. They lost but commented on how well the players upped their game and how well hosted they were!

The next day we had organised an early afternoon match against CSW Football Club. This was another very competitive fixture which the girls managed to win 2-1! They then had the afternoon and evening free to enjoy Amsterdam.

The following morning they made their way home after what sounded like a brilliant tour.
