Burleigh Travel have been trading for over 30 years and have
many years experience of sending groups to the Ghent Easter
Festival, which is now into its 36th year.
Ghent is a busy port and the largest city of the East Flanders
province. Many waterways traverse the inner town and flow
towards the old port at the Graslei. You can explore the city by
foot or boat and there are a number of amenities in the centre
to keep your group entertained away from the festival itself.
This Tour Proposal provides a great experience, giving you the
real ‘rugby party’ atmosphere, with multiple categories for you
to participate in.
Antwerp, Belgium
As well as offering accommodation in Ghent, you
can also base your stay in Antwerp which is
approximately an hour’s drive from the festival.
Antwerp is a beautiful city full of culture, with
fascinating medieval buildings within its old
town, and lots of exciting places to visit. It also
boasts a chic new waterfront development, which
plays host to a promenade of restaurants and
bars.
This option still offers you the festival atmosphere
in Ghent whilst also offering a wider variety of
nightlife in the evenings and a second city to
explore.
Getting There
You will travel by Ferry from Dover to
Calais where the crossing takes just
90 minutes before travelling to your
accommodation.
Travelling by Ferry provides a great
opportunity for team bonding and
creates a sense of comradery amongst
the group.
